With reviewing a lot of articles, the method is showed to obtain sufficient effect comparable to composite resin fillings and amalgam fillings (still main treatment for primary teeth in Thailand), without inducing fear of children.
Abstract 2
Application of (SM) ART - For aging population and handicapped children
Prof. Yupin Songpaisan (Visiting Professor, Niigata University)
SMART makes us it possible to do mass screening and simultaneous treatment of many patients, even though at nursing home, disabled facilities and refugee camps because we don’t need any advanced dental devices such as engine and light curing unit. And practical mobile settings were shown by schemes and photos.
Lectures and discussions were in English, many questions were made from audiences, including graduate students.
