Our Research

The goal of comprehensive prosthodontics is to transform the clinical framework of prosthodontic dentistry into a field of rehabilitation medicine focused on enhancing eating ability. We are pioneering new methods for diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating chewing and swallowing disorders. We welcome collaborative research with medical technology, food science, and rehabilitation medicine to advance these efforts.

Clinical Fields

Our department provides prosthetic treatments, including complete dentures, partial dentures, and crown bridges. We provide treatment with dentures and crowns for people who are missing teeth or who have difficulty eating. In addition, we provide specialized treatment in our maxillofacial prosthetics outpatient clinic for patients who have undergone removal of part of their jaw or tongue during surgery around the mouth.
